(STORY)
YOSHI, an assistant producer and KAZUSA, an assistant editor are tasked with the job of editing a low-budget horror movie called “The Damned Caves”, which a director named KIRIYAMA just finished shooting. As Kiriyama has another bigger budget film to shoot and needs the help of both of their bosses, the two are left to edit the footage themselves. Early on in the editing, Kazusa notices a strange white thing on one of the cuts shot in the cave, that looks like it could be part of someone’s body, but chooses to keep it in the film anyway.
When Kazusa’s boss, KUCHIUMI, stops by to check up on the editing, he quickly notices it and thoughtlessly deletes it. He is subsequently murdered that night, by having his face sliced off.
