Go beyond, All Might
これが最終回か…
無個性なのにどうやって戦うん？
I’ve read the manga and watched the fight. And I’m sorry to say this but this is the worst All Might fight I’ve ever seen.
I thought this fight was to get AFO away from Shigaraki and Midoriya, but it turns out that All Might wants to fight AFO to defeat him, not to get AFO away from Shigaraki, not to buy time for Midoriya, not even to try to stop him. All Might wants to defeat AFO and defeat him, let me repeat what I said, All Might, the 55 year old, the skeleton , who lost the One for All, wants to defeat AFO. How will he do this? Using All Might’s armor, a super armor that mimics “Class A” Quirks (it’s mimics all class A Quirks , what about Class B, Class B has better Quirks than Class A and would have survived from AFO’s attacks, I’m sorry but it’s just piss me off ) who will face AFO in his prime and at full power.
I started hating this fight because the writer is trying to make All Might look strong while making AFO look weak, even though the difference between them is huge, AFO could have easily destroyed All Might but no because the fans would be upset
After Stein’s intervention and one last attempt to end AFO once and for all, a plot twist appears, which is that AFO was able to stop All Might and steal Stein’s quirk and use it on All Might, rendering him a lifeless corpse. Now All Might is not facing AFO, but Toshinori facing the death.
But out of nowhere, Ka-chan comes back to life and saves him.
There is a meaning to this moment and it is the same as in Kamino (Bakugou was in trouble and was also an obstacle to All Might who came to save him) Now Dynamight sets out to save Toshinori from the claws of AFO, after Bakugou saves All Might who is out of his powers Bakugou goes to face AFO (personally I never liked this part) and in order for Bakugou to be able to face AFO All Might gives him what is left of the armor to Bakugou (just like Midoriya with One for All)
It was a very beautiful scene but after I watched it again I discovered that it was childish, we are in the middle of a war and Bakugou is about to die in front of AFO (but it didn’t happen because Horikoshi decided this)
And in the end, AFO’s consciousness is complete inside Shigaraki and he becomes the dominant one (in short, Horikoshi tells us that this fight was meaningless)
What happened with All Might reminds me of Makarov from Fairy Tail (both unleashing their full power in the face of the greatest threat – both wanted to sacrifice themselves to end this threat – both came back into the story because the writer said so)
